So, happy Thanksgiving!
Overall, Thanksgiving has been a blast. Of course, there are a few down spots, as with every day, and because I don't want this blog to become my gripe list, I won't really go into the lows right now. So, I met my newest little cousin today! He promptly spit up on me. Happens, right? Two Thanksgiving dinners: I ate about half a plate at one and half a plate at the other, thankfully resulting in the avoidance of holiday gorging. I'm kind of attempting to lose a little weight and get into shape. Not a lot of weight, mind you. Vanity pounds, actually.
So, for the second time in one week, I saw my dad. Didn't recognize him this time either. You know, I actually fooled myself into thinking that he might want to be around me. I was wrong. He talked to me for fifteen minutes, tops. Considering that he and I are almost perfect strangers now, he's made himself pretty clear. His new girlfriend talked to me more than my dad did. I can't say that it didn't hurt, but I've come to expect it. I know that things could be a lot worse, but...They really kind of suck right now.
OOH!
I got a new profile picture on facebook...I ACTUALLY managed to climb a tree and get my picture taken! I was so excited! Yes, I have scratches all over my stomach, legs, and arms, but it was a blast. Unfortunately...There's video. It's almost enough to make me hang my head in shame. Buuuut, that's life.
I'm trying to figure out if I can write a six-page paper in one day...It's possible, right? I mean, that day is going to SUCK, but it's possible. I'm going to shoot for finishing my term paper on Saturday, since I don't have to teach my Sunday School class on Sunday and everyone's going to be out of town. I mean, what ELSE will I have to do? I'll probably end up writing a novel about the Civil War if I don't watch myself.

You think your life is crazy?
So, you think your life is crazy, eh?
Chances are, you're probably right, but you're here!
My life is a flurry of activity...a veritable tornado, if you will. I live in Kansas, and no, I don't know where Toto or whatever the heck his name is...is. I'm an unemployed sophomore in college who can't get a job because she is leaving in six months. Five months...Where does the time go? Oh, probably into the numerous term papers due by Monday. And the online class. We can't forget the online class! The class that...had I done all the work...would have had me doing over 150 pages of writing within three months. That's in addition to the rest, folks. Not that I mind writing. No, I love writing. But not about poetry that makes absolutely no sense. Haikus are not my friends.
So, in the past two weeks, I've lost a good friend of mine. I'm going to call him Smithers. So, Smither's died last Saturday, taking a good chunk of my heart with him. But even that is all right. His death brought a lot of the people at my school together, and I now have new friends who help me through the grief...and I them. (I hope.) So, yes, it tears me apart.
But, on the bright side! (There's always one of those...or so I'm told.)
Life is actually going all right for me right now. I have wonderful new friends and eleven cats that all adore me...I think. You can't really tell with cats. They let me pet them. 8D? Life is hectic but it's pretty fun. I'm hanging out with TB1 and TB2, and I really think TB1 likes me! I hope he does. However, I have a dilemma. MB1 likes me too. I refuse to take it too seriously, though. Nothing's going on between me and TB1 or MB1, so...I'm free! Free is really a wonderful feeling. One that I'd almost forgotten about. See, there was this one guy...We'll call him CX. CX and I dated for a loooooooong time. I still care very deeply about him (definitely just as a friend, though), but he kind of hates my guts! Awh, CX will just have to get over it.
Well, that's it for the introductory message. I simply HAVE to go to the movies. (It's a requirement, right? xP)
